Executive, Correctional Health (Future Plans)

You will assist the Team Lead, Future Plans, to develop and establish new programmes, services, and frameworks to transform Correctional Health in Singapore. Doing this will require the managing of contract requirements of the Correctional Health collaboration between SingHealth and the Ministry of Home Affairs, designing and implement transformational/developmental efforts for Correctional Health in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of all contract requirements to ensure that service levels are adequately met and contractual obligations are satisfactorily discharged
• Interface with external entities such as the Singapore Prison Service (SPS), the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the Ministry of Health (MOH), subcontractors, and relevant national and international collaboration partners
• Partner with key stakeholders, SingHealth entities and/or departments to define strategic plans, manage and build system and process solutions including administrative and operational matters
• Assist the Team Lead, Future Plans to design and implement systemic transformation and developments in the field of correctional health in alignment with the strategic vision and goals of SPS, MHA and MOH for the strategic collaboration
• Perform secretariat functions for engagement visits, management reports and stakeholder meetings
• Manage department budget, logistics and administration matters
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Degree in any relevant discipline with preferably 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
• Demonstrate good command of spoken and written English, basic financial literacy, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
• Self-starter and able to perform multiple tasks independently and as a team player
• Ability to present concepts in clear and relevant manner to the target audience
• Willingness to learn
• Must have fully completed COVID-19 vaccinations

Skills that would be advantageous:

• Work experience in healthcare and strategic/corporate planning
• Knowledge and skill in procurement cycle & governance
