Reporting to the Assistant Director, Community Care, you will develop the strategic plan for the engagement of community partners based on the needs of residents in the community and the roadmap of the Regional Health System (RHS). You will also oversee the organisation of community engagement initiatives between the RHS, and social service agencies and community partners.  You should have a good knowledge of the social-health landscape.  You have the ability to think and plan strategically, develop and strengthen partnerships with social-health-community and internal stakeholders, in bringing SingHealth’s population health initiatives to benefit residents in the east.  You will lead the Community Partnership team to meet the department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic plan for community partnership based on through deep understanding of the needs of community organisations and residents
  • Oversee the organisation of projects, meetings, forum and events
  • Develop and maintain and strong authentic relationships between with social-community partners and internal stakeholders
  • Serve as the interface between community organisations and internal stakeholders
  • Regularly assess new partnerships and opportunities with senior management, so as to expand current programmes and partnerships
  • Lead and motivate team members to meet goals and desired outcomes of projects and initiatives

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with good understanding of the healthcare and community sector in Singapore
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience with demonstrated competency, relevant healthcare and community experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a wide variety of diverse relationships, using a collaborative and consultative approach in communication
  • Ability to promote and role model appropriate behaviour to support the culture, performance and brand of the department
  • Able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Highly analytical, resilient and professional with a can-do attitude
  • Independent and effective in team-setting
  • Good presentation and communication skills with the ability to write well
