Job Description
The incumbent provides leadership to develop, implement and review compensation, benefits and performance management strategies, policies, and processes for the hospital’s medical staff population.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance reward and recognition programmes by:
- Working in partnership with Group HR, Senior Management, HODs and staff to understand needs.
- Tracking and analysing the effectiveness of reward and recognition initiatives.
- Studying market benchmarks and recommending relevant market best practices.
- Manage the various compensation exercises including, but not limited to computation and processing of Performance Bonus, Annual Wage Supplement and Salary Increment payouts.
- Manage the annual performance management exercise which includes analysis of performance ratings, facilitation of moderation discussion and submission of promotion cases to Group HR.
- Advise and collaborate with HR Business Partners on the interpretation and effective implementation of compensation, benefits and performance management policies.
- Undertake projects/assignments which may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- University Degree.
- At least 8 years of HR experience; including at least 5 years in Compensation and Benefits.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with medical affairs would be an advantage.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong Microsoft Application skills such as MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
- Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.
