Job Description

 

The incumbent provides leadership to develop, implement and review compensation, benefits and performance management strategies, policies, and processes for the hospital’s medical staff population. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Develop and enhance reward and recognition programmes by:
  1. Working in partnership with Group HR, Senior Management, HODs and staff to understand needs.
  2. Tracking and analysing the effectiveness of reward and recognition initiatives.
  3. Studying market benchmarks and recommending relevant market best practices.
  1. Manage the various compensation exercises including, but not limited to computation and processing of Performance Bonus, Annual Wage Supplement and Salary Increment payouts.
  2. Manage the annual performance management exercise which includes analysis of performance ratings, facilitation of moderation discussion and submission of promotion cases to Group HR.
  3. Advise and collaborate with HR Business Partners on the interpretation and effective implementation of compensation, benefits and performance management policies.
  4. Undertake projects/assignments which may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements

 

  • University Degree.
  • At least 8 years of HR experience; including at least 5 years in Compensation and Benefits.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with medical affairs would be an advantage.
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Application skills such as MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.
