Changi General Hospital, a major hospital located at the eastern region of Singapore, is currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated psychologists to grow and expand its psychological services to patients in the hospital and individuals in the community. As a member of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals comprising clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and allied health professionals, you will provide psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions (CBT and others) to adolescent, adult and elderly clients with various mental health issues. In addition, you will design and conduct training, workshops and group sessions for patients and the public. You will also be provided with opportunities to be involved in mental health research. You will join a highly experienced and dynamic team and be provided with strong collegial support and regular supervision.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments (i.e., IQ, personality and neuropsychological) for adolescent, adult and elderly patients in the wards and specialist clinics.
Conduct brief interventions or cognitive remediation for patients with neurocognitive deficits.
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals comprising clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and allied health professionals.
Design and conduct training, workshops and group sessions for community partners, patients and the public via online platforms or face to face.
Conduct or be involved in research independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Neuropsychology.
Registered with or be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) or the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
Effectively bilingual in English and another language (preferably Mandarin, Malay, Tamil or other local languages commonly spoken in Singapore, such as Hokkien and Cantonese).
Dynamic, resourceful, able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
