Systems Coordinator

Job Description

Overview:

This role will assist in managing Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS), Radiology Information System (RIS) in Radiography department.

Job Role:

• Provide level 1 support to Radiology users in troubleshooting system faults and on call duty after office hours;
• Provide orientation on RIS / PACS to all new staff.
• Manage and liaise with doctors on replacement of Diagnostic Workstations.
• Liaise and coordinate with modality radiographers for upgrades and RIS / PACS connectivity matters.
• Liaise with Hospital Information Service Department on projects & events that may affect department system (e.g. scheduled downtime, preventive maintenance etc).
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Infra Services Team for compliance on testing and maintenance of periodical deployment of security patches and policy updates to all computers in the department.
• Assist with day-to-day maintenance of system issues.

Job Requirements: 

• Recognised Degree in any relevant IT field or Healthcare related discipline.
• At least 3 years’ experience in systems co-ordination, project management
• Prior experience in hospital setting will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.
