Assistant Director, Operations, Eastern General Hospital Planning Office
The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aims to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centred around each person. When operational, EGH will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services, covering emergency, acute and secondary care. EGH's vision is to be a hospital for the community and a great workplace for staff. It seeks to do so by harnessing innovative technologies in patient care, journeying closely with patients and the community to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives, and being an employer of choice that empowers staff in their careers.

As a key enabler of organisational readiness, you will work closely with the Data Protection Officer, SingHealth Data Protection Office, external legal advisors and key stakeholders to strengthen governance frameworks, ensure compliance with applicable data protection requirements, and build organisational capabilities in preparation for EGH's opening.
In this role, you will drive the planning and execution of operational readiness initiatives by developing integrated workplans, key milestones and timelines, monitoring deliverables and interdependencies, and facilitating the timely resolution of risks and issues. Working in partnership with internal departments, SingHealth institutions and project teams, you will strengthen governance, compliance and execution discipline across critical operational workstreams. In addition, you will oversee divisional administration and resource planning, including workplan and budget management, operational and patient support analytics, workforce coordination, and capability development, to ensure the Division of Operations is well-positioned to support the successful commissioning and opening of EGH.
