We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in the Accreditation and Licensing role. In this role, you will assist the unit head in the operational management direction for the Accreditation and Licensing department. You will be responsible for developing the hospital’s management systems to meet the hospital’s accreditation and management standards requirements, and implementing controls to ensure regulatory compliance, such as the non-clinical aspects of the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA), relevant ISO standards and applicable international and local standards.

 

The individual would scan and implement best practices in management standards, document control, and internal audits. To facilitate an effective management system, the individual will develop and conduct training programmes and oversee the supporting IT systems (e.g. e-Audit).

 

You will be required to assist the unit head to lead tabletop exercises and coordinate with internal departments, external agencies, and independent auditors to ensure licensing readiness. Your scope will also include monitoring evolving regulatory changes and advise the unit head on preparedness measures and ensure compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in healthcare Accreditation and Licensing is necessary
  • Additional internal/external auditor certifications would be an advantage
  • Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning and analytical skills 
  • Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and growing organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
