Instrument Technician (Endoscopy), EGH Planning Office

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is a 1,000-bed hospital in Bedok North that will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services, covering emergency, acute and secondary care. As a digitally enabled and patient-centred hospital, it will leverage innovative technologies to provide excellent care, and journey closely with patients and the community towards healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The Instrument Technician (Endoscopy), is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality / timely manner throughout the hospital. He / she should support the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The incumbent will be nested at Singapore General Hospital.

Job Requirements 

• GCE N/O/A Level qualification with relevant years of experience and demonstrated competency
• Ability to work independently and handle soiled instruments
• Ability to work on weekends and Public Holidays
• A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
