Senior Accountant (Finance), Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

In this position, you will assist in financial analysis, projections and costing for the EGH Campus. You will support the preparation of budget and forecast submissions which includes preparation of budget and forecast materials, drafting of funding papers, review of budget requests, presentation of financial information to Management.

You will be the key resource responsible to review stakeholders’ funding and budget requests to ensure compliance with the Terms of Reference (TOR) of respective funding sources, process claims and ensure timely reimbursement of expenses.

In addition, you will assist in matters relating to audit, GST, and taxation. You will also provide secretariat and administrative support to departmental workgroups, including documentation and coordination support.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or degree holder (major in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent)
• Membership of a professional body, e.g., ISCA or ACCA is advantageous
• Ability to handle complex, ambiguous and challenging situations under fast paced and evolving conditions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Tableau, Power BI
• Possess strong willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills, especially in costing, analytics, and hospital operations
