In this role, you will be part of the EGH Planning Office within the CEO’s Office, leading efforts in system and process transformation to support the hospital’s strategic priorities. As EGH prepares for its opening, the team plays a key role in shaping organisational systems, strengthening operational readiness, and driving quality improvement initiatives across the institution.


The incumbent will lead transformation and improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience, strengthening operational efficiency, and building organisational capabilities in quality improvement. This includes driving quality improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking, and working closely with stakeholders across departments to implement sustainable system and process improvements.


He/she will also be responsible for leading the Secretariat for the EGH Go-Live Steering Committee, supporting hospital leadership in overseeing key workstreams leading up to the hospital’s opening. This includes coordinating Go-Live schedules and milestones, monitoring risks and dependencies, facilitating operational readiness exercises, and ensuring effective communication and alignment across departments to support a smooth hospital operationalisation.

 

Job Requirements   

  • Recognised degree in any discipline with at least 12 years of relevant working experience, preferably in healthcare, healthcare operations, or transformation roles
  • Experience in leading large-scale projects, organisational transformation initiatives, or system improvement programmes will be advantageous
  • Familiarity with improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking, or related frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives
