Senior/ Assistant Manager, Payroll, Finance, Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

Are you interested in building payroll systems and processes from the ground up? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Finance team and play a key role in implementing payroll-related systems and administering compensation schemes for the new hospital.
In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to support payroll system implementation, including requirement gathering, workflow documentation, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation and reconciliation. You will also oversee the administration of compensation schemes, ensuring accurate computation, reconciliation and reporting, while supporting financial reporting and manpower cost analysis.

What you'll do:
- Support the implementation and enhancement of payroll-related systems, including UAT, data validation and reconciliation activities
- Administer and manage compensation schemes in collaboration with HR
- Prepare payroll journals and invoices for monthly and year-end financial closing
- Analyse manpower costs and support management reporting and dashboards
- Support claims submissions and reporting where required
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or degree holder (major in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent)
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant working experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Self-motivated and seek continuous improvement with suggestions to improve work processes
