Senior Assistant Manager (Security and Compliance), Operational Technology

In this role, you will be part of the SingHealth Operational Technology (OpTech) Team, which provides comprehensive support for Medical Devices and Operation Technology Systems (MDOTS) and SingHealth-managed systems. Amid accelerated digitalisation and the rapid adoption of advanced healthcare technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence, the healthcare landscape continues to evolve. Operational technology plays a critical role in enabling safe, secure, and compliant healthcare delivery to meet future demands.
The incumbent will play a key role in overseeing the security and compliance aspects of the procurement, evaluation, and deployment of cluster and institution-managed ICT and OpTech solutions. This includes supporting OpTech and CIO Office initiatives across SingHealth, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, regulatory requirements, and established governance processes.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in IT security, cybersecurity, operational technology, healthcare IT, or related fields
- Experience and knowledge of healthcare or government IT environments, with security and policies compliance requirements, standards and best practices will be advantageous
- Professional certifications such as CISM, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, COMIT, CITPM, ITIL will be an advantage
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity, IoT/IoMT, Operational Technology, including an understanding of the interdependencies and security considerations across these domains
- Exposure to cloud environments (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) and familiarity with cloud security concepts will be advantageous
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and associated security considerations will be an advantage
- Demonstrate ability in problem-solving, analytical thinking, decision-making, and conceptualisation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently, while also functioning effectively as part of a team
