Senior Executive, Allied Health Office, EGH Planning Office

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is a 1,000-bed  hospital in Bedok North that will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services, covering emergency, acute and secondary care. As a digitially enabled and patient-centred hospital, it will leverage innovative technologies to provide excellent care, and journey closely with patients and the community towards healthier, more fulfilling lives. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the strategic planning and development of Allied Health services at EGH. You will support EGH Allied Health leadership in the development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives for Allied Health in EGH. This also includes supporting manpower deployment plans and the engagement of Allied Health staff.

To enable clinical strategies to be translated into the service development of the new hospital, you will work closely with various sections of the hospital planning team, such as Nursing, Corporate Planning, Development Secretariat, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, you will provide secretariat support and manage resource requirements for various workgroups to facilitate effective collaboration and project execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in healthcare related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in basic data analysis and presentation software
• Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and growing organisation
• Knowledge and skills in project management, process planning and budgeting would be a strong advantage
• Team player and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions.
