We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join the Food Services Department at Eastern General Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new hospital development and contribute beyond day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play an active role in designing, developing and implementing food service systems, workflows, processes and policies, helping to shape the future food service model at EGH. Working closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders and service partners, the incumbent will support project planning, drive operational readiness, and contribute to the successful opening of the hospital.

 

Key responsibilities include managing departmental projects, overseeing food service equipment and asset management, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating audits and quality assurance activities, and supporting invoice verification, reporting and administrative functions.

 

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in food services, healthcare operations, nutrition services, or related fields
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital setting will be advantageous
  • Experience in project coordination, vendor management, contract administration, or operations management is preferred
  • Knowledge & skill in design thinking, change management, project management, process and technology adoption methodologies, would be a strong advantage
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office application
  • Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
  • Action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused
