Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (General Services), Eastern General Hospital Planning Office

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team (General Services). In this role, you will support the planning, development, implementation and operational readiness of key hospital support services, including Mortuary Services, Portering Services, Retail & Visitor Services, Transport Services (ambulances and shuttle buses), and Office Services (mailroom, courier and workplace administration).
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, outsourced service providers, healthcare institutions and external agencies to support the development of operating models, workflows, policies, standard operating procedures and service performance frameworks. The role will involve coordinating projects, analysing operational requirements, tracking timelines and ensuring readiness for hospital opening and activation.
Additionally, you will assist in the management and monitoring of outsourced service contracts, support procurement and budgeting activities, coordinate stakeholder engagements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality and customer experience. You will also support the hospital's Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition efforts and foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and organisational resilience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably healthcare related, with up to 2 years of related experience
- Candidates with more years of relevant experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager role
- Knowledge & skill in design thinking, change management, project management, process and technology adoption methodologies, would be a strong advantage.
- Experience in service or healthcare industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office application
- Team player with excellent planning, analytical and communication skills, possess critical thinking skills and willing to think outside of the box
- Able to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions
