Senior Executive/Assistant Manager (Admitting Services), EGH Planning Office

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Admitting Services. In this role, you will support the planning and development of admission and financial counselling processes to ensure efficient patient admissions across various care pathways. Key responsibilities include developing workflows for various admission categories and financial counselling protocols for patients. You will support the development of training materials and user guides to support operational processes and enhance staff capabilities. Additional responsibilities include supporting daily departmental operations, providing secretariat support for meetings and events, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives to enhance service delivery.
The role encompasses strategic planning responsibilities, including supporting the development of work instructions and resource and manpower planning. You will play a pivotal role in staff development by training new frontline staff. Over time, you will progress to leading, developing and inspiring them in their careers. A key aspect of this position involves fostering a patient-centric culture that drives the department towards delivering exceptional care and experience for our patients. The role also includes supporting the hospital's Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) efforts and collaborate across departments to build a seamless healthcare delivery system from the ground up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of related experience
- Healthcare and staff management experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge and skill in design thinking, change management, project management, technology adoption and process methodologies will be preferred
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a fluid environment and a growing organisation with multi-generational staff
- Team player, highly motivated and action-oriented with excellent planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, adapt to change and manage challenges in a fast-paced healthcare environment
