We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and forward-thinking individual to join our Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) team and be part of the exciting journey of planning, developing and operationalising a new hospital. In this role, you will support the planning, development and implementation of clinic operations, workflows and service delivery initiatives to ensure efficient utilisation of resources and a seamless patient journey, as well as supporting digital-first initiatives for scheduling and patient communications. You will also support daily operations, provide secretariat support for meetings, monitor operational performance, coordinate cross-functional initiatives to enhance service delivery.

 

You will also contribute to strategic initiatives, including capacity planning, resource optimisation, manpower planning and the implementation of digital solutions that improve patient access, appointment management and care coordination. The role involves providing secretariat support for meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.

 

The role encompasses strategic planning responsibilities, including supporting the development of work instructions and resource and manpower planning. You will play a pivotal role in staff development by training new frontline staff. Over time, you will progress to leading, developing and inspiring them in their careers. A key aspect of this position involves fostering a patient-centric culture that drives the department towards delivering exceptional care and experience for our patients. The role also includes supporting the hospital's Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT) efforts and collaborate across departments to build a seamless healthcare delivery system from the ground up.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior experience in healthcare operations and staff management will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Specialist Outpatient Clinic (SOC) operations, including experience gained through nursing, allied health, or other healthcare-related roles, will be highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with design thinking, change management, project management, digital transformation, technology adoption, and process improvement methodologies will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment and a growing organisation comprising a multi-generational workforce.
  • A proactive and results-oriented team player with strong planning, analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, adapt to change, and navigate operational challenges effectively.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to track milestones, monitor progress, and ensure the timely completion of key deliverables.
