Assistant Manager (Dietetics & Psychology)

You will provide management and administrative support to both the Psychology and Nutrition & Dietetics Departments. You will support the Head of Department of both departments in the development, implementation and monitoring of operational projects.

 

Specific job responsibilities:

  • Leading and/ or support strategic projects within the hospital/ SingHealth to enhance patient experience and/ or safety, improve department productivity, develop new service capabilities, drive value-driven care and/ or support innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of department Balance Score Card, key performance indicators and to effectively initiate actions plans when required to fulfil the targets.
  • Assist in annual department budgeting, costing exercise for new and re-costing for existing services, as well as in preparing manpower planning paper.
  • Support department strategic planning to facilitate the departments’ alignment with the overall strategic directions for both the hospital and SingHealth.
  • Participate in the review of relevant systems and processes, to update departments’ policies and procedures/ work instructions.
  • Lead audits to ensure achieve good governance and compliance to organizations’ accreditation standards.
  • Work across Allied Health Division and support Division work when required, including to provide administrative support for new Allied Health Services, example Respiratory Therapy Service.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience in administration and project management, preferably with prior experience in the healthcare sector
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of data visualization and data analytics tools will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Independent, meticulous and pro-active in learning, with ability to work under tight deadlines.
