Clinical Counsellor (Dept of Psychological Medicine, Contract)

Job Description:

• To work within multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of psychiatric care of women and children.
• To assess the mental health needs of patients.
• To plan and coordinate care with patient and family, healthcare partners, and community agencies.
• To provide psycho-education and supportive counselling to patient and family. 
• To monitor and evaluate patient’s response to treatment, and revise intervention plan as needed.
• To participate in service programmes and initiatives.
• To participate in collection and input of data for clinical audit of service.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Psychology, Social work, Counselling, or relevant healthcare experience in Psychiatry
• Min 2 years of relevant working experience
• Good Team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
