Executive (Div of Surgery/NSQIP)

The incumbent will be a Surgical Clinical reviewer (SCR) of the American College of Surgeons’ National Surgical Quality Improvement Paediatric Program (ACS NSQIP Peds) for KKH’s Division of Surgery. His/her main responsibility is to abstract clinical data within the Division of Surgery according to ACS NSQIP Peds guidelines, with corresponding entry into the database. He/she will also work with clinicians to facilitate divisional clinical quality projects to improve surgical services.

Job Requirement

• Medical/Nursing degree holder with at least 1 year experience in hospital surgery department, surgery clinic, clinical research or medical records is preferred
• Undergo and pass SCR certification by ACS NSQIP
• Basic understanding of surgical patient care and surgical procedures
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in quality, process improvements, data analytics, clinical audit, patient safety or clinical review would be an advantage
