Manager / Programme Manager (Contract, Div of Med-KIDS 0-3)

  The Programme Manager is responsible for overseeing the various components of the KidSTART@KKH KIDS0-3 programme. This includes, programme design and management, monitoring of service provision, fidelity and staff development, as well as strengthening community partnerships for programme success. 
The programme manager is required to have broad and long-term view with understanding of service landscape to support program in achieving higher goals.


Job Scope:

  • Show leadership personality in steering and supporting program towards achieving evidence based, best practices in integrated health and social service deliveries.
  • Reviews, participates, and implement strategic directives and governance to achieve outcome measures and impact in accordance with the programme logic model.
  • Work with programme lead to scope and track various aspects of programme evaluation, plan for resources needed to meet programme reporting indicators and aligned with the Institution’s strategic and business objectives.
  • Identify, monitor and ensure key programme performance and standards are adhered to, to achieve key reporting objectives.
  • Evaluates data to guide evidence-based best practices and practice-informed research.
  • Create a conducive environment to facilitate communication and multi-disciplinary teamwork in accordance with the programme objectives.
  • Works with programme and discipline leads in monitoring of environmental trends to ensure that staff are optimally rewarded and given opportunities for career development. 
  • Jointly assesses, reviews, and evaluates staff performance regularly through annual performance appraisals, career development planning and performance improvement plan with the respective discipline leads.
  • Manage and support the discipline leads in developing procedures and SOPs for the smooth running of programme. 
  • Supervise smooth implementation of plans for the programme and be responsible for troubleshooting operational and administrative matters.
  • Engages respective discipline leads at regular intervals to discuss issues, concerns related to service quality provided by key workers (nurses and home visitors) in the antenatal home visitation programme. 
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by Program Lead.
  • Performs any other Division duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree with at least 8 years' experience and demonstrated competency (with at least 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience preferred).
  • A fast and efficient worker with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizing and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong coordinating and facilitation skills.
