Senior/Assistant Manager, Security and Fire Safety

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, Security & Fire Safety Department, you will assist in, planning, organising and developing the department’s functions and operation.  In particular, you will provide specialist advice on security and fire safety matters.

As the Fire Safety Manager, you will review the firefighting and rescue training programmes, execute fire drill exercises as well as assist with the Hospital’s business continuity, national emergency and mass casualty plans.  You will also be the liaison with Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF), Singapore Police Force (SPF), Singapore Prison Service (SPS) and other external agencies for security and fire safety coordination.

Requirement:

• Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in security and fire safety management
• Diploma holder with 8 years’ relevant experience in security and fire safety management will also be considered
• SCDF certified Senior/ Fire Safety Manager  
• CERT trained as Site Incident Controller/Site Main Controller will be an advantage
• Possess technical knowledge in security systems such as CCTV/Access Control
• Self-motivated and independent with strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet deadlines.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Has experience serving in SCDF / SPF
