About the Role

 

The Cancer Service Line Development (CSLD) has been set up to support the development of cancer service lines for NCCS. These focus on disease management through multi-disciplinary care teams and patient services. This office will be responsible for the overall project management of cancer service lines, development of business and operational plans, and roll out of clinical, research and education plans at NCCS.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of new clinical services in NCCS which includes determining the resource requirement, workload and operational needs of these new services. This role requires significant interaction with key senior management.

 

 

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include

 

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategic plans for cancer service line growth
  • Support global, regional and national trends analysis; identify new strategic focus areas which align with SingHealth cluster-level and national priorities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage project timelines and resource planning, including budgeting, staffing, equipment (clinical & non-clinical)
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings; monitor and report on project progress, using metrics and data to inform management for decision-making
  • Work with internal stakeholders to manage and coordinate vendors and develop contracts i.e. service level agreement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, Finance department and SingHealth Legal office to ensure contract accuracy and compliance
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff to enhance their skills, knowledge and performance through coaching and feedback

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Management, Science or any other relevant fields   
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business analysis, preferably in healthcare industry 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial modelling
  • Strategic thinking and problem capabilities
  • Adaptable, able to multi-task and work well independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities
