About the Role

You will be responsible for the development and cultivation of physician and Payer relationships as it relates to positioning NCCS as a multidisciplinary, subspecialty national referral center for all cancer cases in Singapore, thus growing mindshare and referrals to NCCS, particular for complex cases requiring team-based care.

 

You will serve as the liaison to GPs within NCCS’ Primary Care Network, representing NCCS’ physicians to local referring GPs, and facilitating a smooth, hassle-free and seamless journey for both GPs and their referred patients to NCCS. 

 

You will also serve as a liaison for referring Payers, likewise facilitating a smooth referral process for both payers and patients, and manage relationships with a network of referring Payers.

 

You are expected to drive the execution of annual engagement and outreach plans that align with the strategy for identified service lines, markets and initiatives.

 

This service-oriented role will also provide you with the opportunity to learn about operational aspects of the Center and the service experience within a healthcare setting.  


Key responsibilities:

 

Outreach and Engagement with Primary Customers

  • Establishing a physician and Payer outreach plan to foster relations with GPs within the NCCS Primary Care Network, including doctor office visits, as well as connecting with Payers to nurture relationships;  Execution of plan initiatives such as physician outreach calls, open houses, CME events, educational talks to Payers, scheduled appointments and other communication methods to build up the referral relationships and service experience of GPs within NCCS’ Primary Care Network and Payers
  • Lead/Manage and serve as the Liaison for all communication with referring physicians and/or their office staff, and Payers, including routine and follow-up visits, emails, phone calls, etc to uncover their needs, tailor solutions, and create mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Development of presentations and speaking points for GPs and specialists and educational content to communicate NCCS’ value proposition to Payer groups.
  • Communication of status updates on all questions to physicians within the NCCS GP Network, as well as key Payers in Singapore and region
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with internal stakeholders, i.e clinicians etc to facilitate a smooth patient journey on behalf of referring physicians and Payers

 

Performance Management

  • Management of referral data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights to tailor communication and messaging to GPs and Payers for each initiative, market, service, or project.
  • Measurement and evaluation of outreach activities including producing and sharing regular summaries of physician and payer visits and their outcomes as well as their impact on referral trends.

 

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum 8 years professional experience, preferably in health care as physician liaison, pharma or medical device executive
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, resourceful, and possess a service mindset
  • Must have strong attention to detail, clinical/medical acumen and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Team oriented individual who is also self-motivated and able work well independently.
  • Ability to self-manage calendar and resources including travel, networking, marketing.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel
