Assistant Project Manager (ATORG)
This role will mainly manage multi-country non-interventional clinical studies under Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) from start-up to close-out, ensuring their smooth operation. The role is required to liaise with industry partners, vendors and sites in the region to set up and maintain the investigator-initiated studies in aspects including but not limited to contracting, budgeting, biological samples and data collection, in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
ATORG operates under National Cancer Centre Singapore and coordinates the clinical studies across countries in Asia.
Main Duties:
1) Manage Clinical Studies – 90%
- Accountable for study management from start-up to close-out
- Monitor study progress and ensure studies operate within budget and timeline
- Assist PI in obtaining funding from industry partners and/or local grants, including contracting and grant application
- Manage timely funding and payment throughout study duration
- Liaise with vendors (for outsourced activities such as biological samples testing and data management), including contracting, setting up processes and issue resolution
- Work closely with sites as the main point of contact for contract execution, start-up activities, biological samples and data collection, payment, lab kits supply and publication
2) Manage contracts for research projects – 10%
- Manage contracts for other research projects within National Cancer Centre Singapore, liaising with reviewers and ensuring contracts are executed on time
- Assist in any other work as assigned, which may include writing research project management SOPs.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in life sciences with at least 4 years of clinical research experience, including 1 year of clinical project management experience
- Meticulous with close attention to timelines
