About the Role

 

As an Engineer/Senior Engineer, you will oversee the engineering operations in the GMP compounding hub, ensuring cleanroom systems reliability, maintenance and regulatory compliance. You will support HVAC, BMS/EMS, critical equipment and troubleshooting, as well as audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities. The role also works closely with key stakeholders and ensures safe and compliant aseptic compounding operations in a 24/7 environment.

 

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Monitor cleanroom operations and critical environmental parameters
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring, testing and compliance activities
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, cleanroom standards and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits, investigations, CAPA and change control processes
  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance for HVAC and critical engineering systems
  • Coordinate vendor servicing, troubleshooting, repairs and calibration works
  • Monitor equipment performance, maintenance schedules and alarm trends
  • Maintain SOPs, maintenance records, technical documentation and reports
  • Support facility upgrading, improvement and expansion projects
  • Analyse system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support budgeting, procurement and contract management activities
  • Conduct risk assessments and support emergency preparedness planning
  • Provide engineering support for critical building and utility systems
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in cleanroom maintenance is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in ACMV systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with good communication skills
  • Self-driven, able to plan work, set goals and solve operational issues independently
  • Proactive, resourceful and positive working attitude
