About the Role

 

You will play a pivotal role to support the Medical Informatics Office to manage clinical information systems that assist clinicians in decision-making and the management of patients.

 

You will participate in activities required for successful design, implementation, maintenance and support of the clinical systems. You will also work closely with IT Project/System Teams to build and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation.

 

Some of the Key Responsibilities

 

  • Exercises independent judgement to evaluate problems and determine possible solutions according to the needs and current workflow and make recommendations specific for the clinician needs
  • Serves as an intermediary between physicians and information services to troubleshoot software/implementation/training issues
  • Plan and provide training for users in clinical IT systems
  • Perform secretariat work for the Medical Informatics Group

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Experience in clinical information systems, IT project management and experience in healthcare environment would be an added advantage
  • Able to work with different stakeholders
  • Motivated and able to function independently
  • Possess good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised, meticulous with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Work Location: Various locations within the SingHealth cluster when the need arises
