About the Role
You will drive operational excellence and process improvements within the Clinic Operations department by independently managing clinic operations and you will report to the Assistant Director of Clinic Operations and serves as the vital link between strategic leadership and frontline care delivery.
As the operational heartbeat of the clinic, the Clinic Manager ensures that every patient receives compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care from the moment they enter our doors. This role requires a hands-on leader who can expertly balance patient experience, staff management, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement in the emotionally complex and fast-paced environment of cancer care. The Clinic Manager translates strategic direction into ground-level excellence, solving real-time problems while maintaining the highest standards of service quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional patient care within a specialized cancer outpatient clinic.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of all clinic operations, directly supervising Patient Service Associates (PSAs) and Consult Room Assistants while coordinating closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy, and other clinical teams.
- Streamline workflows and improve operational processes, review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures
- Support compliance checks and ensure compliance, identify gaps or improvement areas and recommends process enhancements
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners, facilitate communication across Clinical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Operations, and administrative teams and resolve cross-departmental operational issues
- Prepare financial models and conduct data analysis; create comprehensive reports and presentations for management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute end to end services and service enhancement initiatives; monitor progress, track timelines, and prepare progress reports
- Liaise across departments to ensure smooth implementation
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in frontline operations in an outpatient or inpatient setting, or in frontline operations in a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods organization, with at least 3-6 years managing a team
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Financial Modelling and PowerPoint presentations for Business
- Committed, proactive and a team player with collaborative mindset
- Meticulous with good analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities
- Adaptable, able to multi-task, work independently and in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage under timelines
- Possess the confidence and maturity to engage with senior leadership and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Must be passionate about improving work processes, patient experience and healthcare service delivery
