About the Role
The Nurse Clinician in Cancer Education & Information Service is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management and quality assurance of the unit. This role involves overseeing a team of nurse counsellors and support staff and ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care and counselling for cancer patients and their families. She will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary oncology team to provide seamless information, emotional support and holistic care to patients at all stages of their cancer journey.
Job Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience with 2 years’ as a registered nurse in an acute hospital setting.
- A recognized Advanced Diploma or Specialist Diploma in a specialty area
- Possess a strong organizational and communication skills
