About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate a large, multi-institutional collaborative program funded by the National Medical Research Council (NMRC), focused on advancing research in colorectal cancer. Our Colo-SCRIPT program (Subtype-specific research to improve diagnosis, classification and treatment of colorectal cancer) brings together world-leading experts in a national program formed to characterise and dissect the distinct biology driving different colorectal cancer subtypes in order to develop knowledge-informed strategies for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of different colorectal cancer subtypes throughout their clinical trajectory. This is a pivotal role that ensures seamless execution of research activities within the program, compliance with funding requirements, effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Your role is pertinent to running research studies/programs which will strengthen NCCS and Singapore’s standing for colorectal cancer research.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery and execution of the Colo-SCRIPT program across themes and sites, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and deliverables within scope, budget, quality and compliance requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the grant, including grant administration, project management, budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Facilitate the drafting and execution of research collaboration/service agreements and compliance documents with different sites, collaborators in partnership with Legal/Tech Transfer offices and regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement amongst participating institutions, investigators, and partners including organisation of review and scientific advisory board meetings.
- Drive scientific integration under PI’s direction, ensuring that program outputs align with national health and innovation priorities.
- Co-ordinate across different functional teams (scientific, clinical, data management, contracting, administrative etc) for the delivery of program objectives.
- Any other duties as assigned to support successful programme delivery.

Requirements:
- A relevant advanced degree (PhD) in Cancer Biology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics or a related field (postdoctoral experience preferred).
- Experience in conducting, managing and leading research programmes, preferably within the field of cancer research or a related area is an advantage.
- Additional experience in the following would be an advantage:
   - Familiarity with NMRC funding processes and requirements.
   - Familiarity with omics approaches, clinical informatics, or digital pathology.
   - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks associated with the use of clinical data and material (e.g. PDPA, HBRA and GCP).
   - Strong understanding of research governance, ethics, and grant administration.
