Research Coordinator (DMOEL)

The Research Coordinator will be actively involved in co-ordinating clinical studies by assisting the investigators with patient recruitment, monitoring of treatment and follow-up, collection of data and tissue specimens as well as data management, and any other work that the supervisor may assign.

The Research Coordinator should endeavor to assess the eligibility of patient for the study based on the inclusion criteria and clearly communicate the aims and procedures of the study. It is also crucial to comply with the proper research consenting process and documentation. The Research Coordinator will also need to prepare weekly/ bi-weekly updates to be sent to the Principal Investigator (PI) and report the recruitment rate.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Health Sciences or Diploma in Nursing with phlebotomy skills
• 2 years of related working experience 
• Computer literate and able to work on Excel 
• Comfortable and confident with patient interaction
• Good time-management and communication skills
• Fluent in English and be able to communicate in a second mother tongue language
• Meticulous and independent worker who possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned
