Research Officer (Ref:CMRHJC)
The Research Officer will support and conduct research activities within the Cellular & Molecular Research (CMR). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing experiments, maintaining accurate research documentation, and contributing to scientific outputs. The role ensures timely delivery of project objectives in alignment with institutional and funding requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research Execution: Conduct experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and cancer biology under PI’s supervision.
- Data Management and Reporting: Data collection and analysis to support project objectives.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical, biosafety, and institutional guidelines.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with PI, research team, and collaborators to achieve milestones; provide guidance to junior staff or interns.
- Administration: Assist with laboratory administration, including procurement and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Prior experience in laboratory research (molecular cancer biology, cell culture, flow cytometry, or animal models).
- Experience working with animal (with RCULA certification) is preferred.
- Good publication records in biomedical journals.
- Proficiency in data analysis and research documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high research standards.
