The Cancer Therapeutic Research Laboratory (CTRL) at NCCS is seeking a Research Officer to support translational research in cancer immunotherapy. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to process patient-derived tumor samples, maintain immune cell cultures, and perform immunology-focused assays to evaluate experimental immunotherapies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research within newly established, state-of-the-art laboratory facilities at the National Cancer Centre Singapore.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Process patient-derived tumor and blood samples for downstream immunological and molecular analyses. 
- Establish and maintain primary cell cultures, including immune cell subsets.
- Perform immunology-focused assays such as flow cytometry, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence.
- Conduct molecular biology experiments including qPCR and RNA sequencing (bulk and single-cell).
- Document and analyze experimental data; present findings to investigators and team members.
- Assist in the training and orientation of junior research staff and students.
- Maintain proper sample tracking, equipment upkeep, and adherence to lab safety and quality control standards.
- Participate in experimental troubleshooting and contribute to protocol optimization.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum one year of hands-on experience in immunology and cellular biology techniques.
- Experience working with clinical or patient-derived samples is highly desirable.
