Research Technologist (DMSMC)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Blood processing, DNA and RNA extraction of patient samples.
- Routinely update and maintain the database of collected patient samples.
- Assist and guide Intern students in sample processing and experiments.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the laboratory.
- Assist in laboratory management including procurement of consumables, maintaining laboratory records and safety protocols.
- Perform other research-related duties related to the daily running of the laboratory as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Job Requirements: 
- Diploma in Biomedical/Life Sciences, or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Experience in molecular biology is a plus, but not necessary.
- Must be comfortable handling blood or tissue samples.
- Meticulous in record keeping and possess good organizational skills.
- Keen to learn new techniques.
- Strong initiative and good communication skills are necessary.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and with other team members under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Training will be provided.
