About the Role

As a Senior / Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving NCCS’ strategic planning and performance management agenda. You will support Senior Management in shaping NCCS’ strategic direction and translating high-level strategies into actionable objectives and initiatives through the Balanced Scorecard framework.

This role involves in-depth strategic research, performance analysis, and the creation of executive-level presentations that inform Senior Management decision-making. This is a high visibility position offering early-to-mid career professionals significant exposure to senior leadership, healthcare trends and cancer care developments, along with excellent opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.

 

 

Some of the Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and execution of NCCS’ strategy in close partnership with Senior Management

  • Craft compelling executive presentations and briefs that help to shape NCCS’ strategic direction, cancer service planning, and resource priorities

  • Design, implement and continuously enhance NCCS’ performance management framework. Execute Balanced Scorecard (BSC) reporting and analysis, KPI target setting, and provide insights and recommendations to Senior Management

  • Play a pivotal role in Senior Management meetings by crafting agendas, synthesising complex discussions into actionable notes, and driving timely follow-up to ensure decisions translate into results

  • Coordinate strategic projects and participate in NCCS committees to advance institutional priorities

  • Proactively identify and engage internal stakeholders to build alignment and support for strategic initiatives

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Sciences, or related fields

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, corporate/business planning, performance management, policy, consulting, or equivalent roles

  • Experience in healthcare or public sector is an advantage

  • Proven track record supporting or preparing presentations and briefs for senior leadership

  • Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills

  • Strong visualisation and storytelling skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and other M365 tools
