About the Role

 

You will play a vital role at the department of cancer education and information services (CEIS) to provide administrative support in the daily operations of the department. As a Senior / Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing of cancer education programmes and events related to patient, family and caregivers such as health talks, workshops organized by CEIS.

 

 

Some of the Key Responsibilities Include

 

  • Plan and work closely with Staff Nurse in-charge to execute patient education activities and programs (virtual and physical events).
  • Plan and work closely with NCCS specialists in the development and revision of patient education/ information materials ensuring that all written patient information materials adhere to the established guidelines on the revision and update of patient education contents.
  • Works with programme facilitator (s) to ensure smooth delivery of cancer education programmes ensuring the readiness of venue and equipment for physical programmes.
  • Submit post-event reports, including expenditure records to Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Plan and oversees the surveillance and updating of the internet content on a regular basis.
  • Reviews periodically effectiveness of programmes and attendances to facilitate service and quality improvement.
  • Works closely with the department head and teammate to ensure accurate recording of income and expenses of each programme for auditing purposes.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with min. 2 years of relevant experience relevant experience preferably in the healthcare setting
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A self-starter with a keen interest in events and project management.
  • Resourceful, highly motivated and organized.
  • Proficient in computer & web-based applications including Microsoft Office
  • Able to work on weekends and/or public holidays when necessary
