The individual will be operating in a diverse, dynamic, and stimulating environment, with responsibility in supporting both Head of CTE Division [HOD] and Director of Admin & Ops, Clinical Trials Operations, by providing operational and administrative support to the Division.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (80%)

  • Manage research grant calls / awards and grant administration in the form of collaboration with external organizations [pharmaceutical, biotech and other agencies / institutions] as a follow-up, with instructions from PI or Head of CTE Division [HOD]  
  • Oversight of the management of project awarded, including but not limited to fund distribution, tracking and progress reporting, managing of the creation of project account, to ensure that the project is started at the shortest possible timeframe. Assist with budget revisions, timelines, and progress reports for funders.
  • Be the point of contact between PIs, various divisions/departments within SingHealth and external organizations to ensure conduct of projects are aligned between national, cluster and division levels.
  • Monitor and manage grants information for KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders when required.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (20%)

  • Assist division with procurements and submission of claims, coordinating meetings and minute taking. 
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, where required
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors or higher management staff

Job Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized institution, at least 2 – 5 years of work experience, preferably in research or healthcare setting. 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of PDPA, HBRA and GCP. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective and dynamic team player. Meticulous with good analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills. 
  • Committed and people oriented with excellent verbal, written interpersonal communicational skills. 
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills and ability to work independently and manage cross-functional and institutional relationships.
  • Able to take initiative to learn on the job and manage assignments.
  • Competent knowledge of MS Office and other software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
