The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to a clinician-scientist (CS), enabling efficient management of clinical, research and other professional commitments. This role also serves as a key liaison for executive support in the planning and/or execution of a clinical programme supervised by the CS.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative and documentation support
- Coordinate and track meetings across internal and external engagements
- Optimized and conflict-free scheduling across commitments
- Assist and maintain records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with institutional policies and/or external sponsorships
Operational support for clinical programme
- Liaise with clinician-scientist for end-to-end operational execution and coordination of the programme
- Seamless coordination between the various departments for successful fellowship applications
- Track application status and outcome, and progress of fellowships
- Proactive identification and resolution of execution risks – e.g. delays in approvals, regulatory issues
- Assist in processing paperwork for fellowships
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in executive support, programme coordination, or operations roles within healthcare, academic medicine, or related settings.
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders.
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
