About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to provide operational oversight to ensure effective delivery of learning initiatives. This role encompasses team supervision, budget management, learning management systems administration, continuous review and enhancement of policies and processes, and management of learning programs to drive organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the annual learning needs analysis and evaluate effectiveness of training programs to ensure alignment of learning needs with organizational goals.
- Manage and ensure smooth running of learning administration for short courses & conferences, vendor sponsorships, scholarships, formal education, skills attachments and bond management.
- Supervise the coordination of non-staff attachments, pre-service sponsorships and scholarship programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Manage the New Hire Onboarding Program and Buddy System for new employees to ensure positive integration experiences, optimize program effectiveness and successful transition into the organization.
- Plan and monitor learning budgets and manage training expenses to ensure cost optimization.
- Oversee the maintenance of training records within the Learning Management System, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- Manage the preparation and analysis of learning statistics and reports for statutory requirements and senior management.
- Review and update policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure alignment with organizational needs
- Implement mentoring program and conduct regular evaluations to measure program effectiveness to ensure optimal mentor-mentee relationships and alignment with organizational development goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or human resource development
- ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) or ACLP (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance)
- At least 8 years of experience in learning & development role and 2 years of supervisory experience
- Pro-active and meticulous with good analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and multi-task to meet competing deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power point)
- Working knowledge in M365, Success Factors and/or Blackboard will be advantageous
