About the Role
As an Assistant Manager/ Senior Assistant Manager, you will be providing and coordinating operational and administrative support to the clinical departments and service centres under Division of Surgery & Surgical Oncology. You will plan and support strategic planning/budgeting exercises, retreats, management reports and assist in ensuring the smooth planning and implementation of Division projects that delivers the best patient care.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
- Support strategic planning, proposal/paper writing, data analysis and preparation of presentation materials
- Coordinate corporate planning, budgeting exercises, retreats and management reports
- Partner clinical heads and stakeholders to plan and implement new services and improvement initiatives
- Support development and roll-out of new clinical services, facilities and equipment approvals
- Provide operational support for surgical facilities (e.g., minor OTs, specialist outpatient clinics)
- Prepare and manage divisional communications (email circulars, intranet, social media updates)
- Support awards nominations and KPI submissions in collaboration and departments, HR and Medical Board Office
- Provide secretariat support to committees (meeting coordination, minutes, follow-ups, action tracking)
- Coordinate workshops, seminars and conferences organised/sponsored by the Division
- Support division-wide administrative and office operations, including ad hoc projects
Job Requirements:
- Relevant degree with proven organisational and administrative competencies
- Prior experience of 2-3 years in healthcare or related field is advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
