About the Role
You will assist to oversee the finance functions of NCCS and be responsible for the NCCS Cancer and Research Fund. This role involves comprehensive financial management including month-end closing, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various stakeholders including SingHealth Fund HQ, external auditors, and internal teams to support the centre's financial operations and fund management activities.
Some of the Key Responsibilities Include
· Perform month end closing of the NCCS, NCC Cancer and Research Fund Accounts
· Review and maintain the General Ledger accounts and perform and reconcile Inter-hospital billing
· Prepare quarterly GST statements for review and submission
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including receipts, disbursements and reconciliations
· Work closely with SingHealth Fund HQ on the timely submission of management reports and ad hoc requests
· Assist in the treasury function by working closely with the grantor and grantees on cash forecasts and maximise return through placement of fixed deposit or investments with approved banks
· Work closely with NCCS DivCOP team on fund raising events and ensuring compliance with relevant authorities and accurate and timely accounting for donation income receipts
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for the SHF-CCF IFC meetings
· Assist with external and internal audits and in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures for grant management
· Maintain proper filing systems for all financial documentation and assist in the preparation of grant budgets and budget revisions
Job Requirements
· Recognized Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
· Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role
· Meticulous, organized and able to work well with tight deadlines
· Independent individual with the ability to multi-task and liaise with stakeholders at all levels
· Possess excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
