Responsibilities:
- Oversee the educational initiatives of the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), the Oral Health Academic Clinical Program (ORH ACP) and the College of Clinical Dentistry (CCD). These initiatives include:
- Auxiliary training programmes for dental assistants, dental technicians and oral health therapists
- Undergraduate Dental Education e.g. Dental undergraduate attachment
- Graduate Dental Education e.g. Master of Dental Surgery (Residency Training Programme)
- Post-graduate Dental Education e.g. Senior Residency
- Continuing Professional Education
- Educators Faculty Development
- Other educational programs, workshops and events conducted by NDCS, ORH ACP and CCD.
- In-charge of closely monitoring the education key performance indicators (KPI) and overseeing the associated education initiatives to ensure that the education targets are achieved. You will also be in-charge of drafting the performance report to management.
- Assist the Vice Chair and Director of Education to spearhead new educational initiatives such as:
- Writing papers and proposals for new educational programs/grants
- Promoting inter-professional learning
- Setting up an education dashboard to monitor the key deliverables for NDCS, ORH ACP and CCD
- Establishing an education database to track educators’ portfolio including teaching hours, feedback on educators, faculty development courses attended, etc.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the annual education workplan.
- Manage the budget projection and fund utilization for the various educational programs and activities.
- Manage the submission and implementation of the ACP education core and programme grants.
- Liaise with NUS Faculty of Dentistry and DUKE NUS pertaining to conferring of academic appointments for clinicians/educators.
- Provide secretariat support for education related committees.
- In-charge of supervising and leading the ACP Office Education team comprising of Executives and Associate Executives to achieve the education goals of the NDCS, ORH ACP and CCD.
Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience will be preferred
- Able to work independently and lead a team
- Possess good leadership, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Highly motivated with strong ability to drive initiatives
