We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Fellow to join an innovative research programme focused on advancing diagnostic and translational research in Precision Oral Health. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic interdisciplinary team exploring emerging technologies with strong potential for clinical and societal impact.

 

Position Overview 

 

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity suited to an early-career researcher with strong laboratory skills and a passion for contributing to the future of precision oral healthcare. The Research Fellow will support key experimental workflows, data analysis, and collaborative activities across partner laboratories.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory-based research aligned with precision oral health diagnostics and translational science.
  • Contribute to project planning, optimisation, and data interpretation.
  • Prepare research outputs, including reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external research partners.
  • Support general laboratory operations and ensure compliance with institutional requirements.

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline such as oral microbiology, biomedical science, biomaterials, molecular biology, bioengineering, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience with laboratory techniques relevant to biological, molecular, or materials-based research.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
