Senior Executive, Operations

About the Role
As a Senior Executive, Operations, you will support the planning, implementation, and optimisation of clinic and day surgery operations. You will work closely with clinicians, nurses, dental assistants, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure operational readiness, seamless workflow implementation, and successful system deployment for the New NDCS. Following the move, you will continue to enhance clinic operations and service delivery through process improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
New NDCS Operational Readiness
- Support the planning and execution of clinic and day surgery operations for the move to the New NDCS.
- Review, design, and optimise operational workflows to align with the new facility layout and service model.
- Conduct operational readiness activities, staff briefings, and training programmes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of operational processes.
Systems Implementation & Testing
- Support the design and implementation of new operational systems and processes.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate system setup activities.
- Work closely with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure systems and hardware are operational.
- Develop and deliver training programmes for new systems and workflows.
Operations Excellence & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend initiatives to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
- Analyse operational data and reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Staff Training & Development
- Conduct operational and competency training for frontline staff.
- Facilitate orientation and training for new staff and clinicians on clinic workflows and systems.
- Support knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across the department.
- Clinic and Day Surgery Operations (Post-launch)
- Oversee a team of Patient Service Associates to support operational service delivery.
- Coordinate with clinical and operational teams to resolve patient-related issues.
- Assist in business continuity planning, emergency preparedness, and organisation-wide operational initiatives.
- Monitor operational indicators and prepare performance reports for management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in healthcare operations, project implementation, process improvement, or system implementation will be advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
