Cardiologist (Electrophysiology and Pacing)
National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) has a wealth of experience in the treatment of heart arrhythmia, especially in complex procedures in Electrophysiology and Pacing. For this post, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to help further develop the Electrophysiology and Pacing services at the NHCS. These services aim to improve the quality, safety and accessibility for patients through regular review of procedures and audit of outcome. You will manage in-patients and out-patients, be involved in the teaching and development of the training programmes for junior doctors and technologists, as well as support research activities in Electrophysiology and Pacing. Based on work requirements, you may be rotated to work at the NHCS Cardiology @ SKH, located at the Sengkang General Hospital. You will also participate in any other patient care initiatives as required.
Requirements:
- Basic Medical Degree (MBBS or MD) with relevant postgraduate qualifications recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
- Specialist accreditation in Cardiology recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board of Singapore
- At least 3 years’ post-Electrophysiology and Pacing fellowship in an accredited programme and 9 years’ post-houseman clinical experience.
- Documented proof of:
(i) Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
(ii) Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022.
