Engineer, Biomedical Engrg
As part of the NHCS Biomedical Engineering team, you are responsible for the commissioning, decommissioning, maintenance and repair of medical equipment. This includes managing maintenance agreements, preparing equipment specifications for procurement, and providing recommendations based on technical compliance during evaluations.
In addition, you will supervise and guide junior staff in daily operations and support the HOD and BME Manager in achieving department targets and key performance indicators.
Requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic/ Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 2 years’ work experience in healthcare industry; OR Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic/ Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 6 years’ work experience in healthcare industry
- Experience in project management in biomedical engineering field in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge in Information / Medical Device Technology and/or a wide range of medical equipment operation would be preferred
- Independent, self-motivated and adaptable to change
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communications skills
- Documented proof of:
(i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
(ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
