Executive, NHRIS

You will be part of the data science research team within the institute. You are responsible for big research data between the programme/ project platform and other data sources/repositories, while ensuring quality assurance of imported data. You will be involved in commissioning and decommissioning of data sets and support initiatives for data integrity, normalisation and standardisation. You will also provide technical support in data storage structures, data mining, data cleansing, data profiling, quality assurance, archiving data workflow and codebook. The selected candidate will be offered employment on 2-years renewable contractual terms.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Bioinformatics, preferably with more than 1 year relevant experience
• Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R and/or Python
• Domain knowledge in healthcare data and experience with relational database, coding and web development is preferred
• Meticulous with demonstrated organisational skill, able to multi-task and work independently
• Self-starter, strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into non-technical layman terms
