Patient Services Assistant
Temporary Patient Service Assistant, Nuclear Cardiac Imaging
You will assist the doctors, radiographers, and nuclear medicine technologists in their daily workflows, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care. Your responsibilities include patient care support such as measuring height and weight, providing procedure explanations and instructions, and preparing patients for procedures such as ECG electrode setup and recording.
In addition, you will handle appointment and scan scheduling, general patient enquiries, guide patients on the self-registration kiosk, as well as maintain inventory of linen in storage areas and consumables in procedure rooms.
Job Requirements
· A general Diploma, GCE 'A' Level or its equivalent
· Ability to speak a second language or dialect(s) would be an advantage (to liaise with non-English speaking patients)
· Pleasant disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
· Responsible and a good team player
Documented proof of:
· (i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
· (ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
