Assistant Manager, Office of Clinical Services (Contract)

 

Job Descriptions:

Programmes Development and Administration

1. You are highly responsible for overseeing and assisting with the initiation, management and administration of NN-wide initiatives and programmes.

Core tasks include:

- Preparation, collation, and submission of documents for program administration and monitoring of key performance indicators.

- Larger-scale budget management, which includes monitoring expenses with regards to the programmes, budget preparation, budget variation (if required) and procurement processing.

- Esnure that all funds are accounted for and prepare appropriate documentation in accordance with NNI / SingHealth financial governance.

- Working with various NNI departments to support the planning and implementation of the operational processes for projects, including manpower, workflows, OPEX, etc. 

- Collation of yearly study findings/updates, prepare and submit grant progress reports to donor.

 

2. Oversee or assist with organizing meetings for various programs (include on-site review meetings, meetings with funders and collaborators and workgroup meetings etc). Ensure meetings are organized in timely manner and carried out in accordance with grantor's requirement. Provide secretarial support for the meetings. 

 

3. Oversee and assist with drafting of and follow-up of various agreements, including Manpower Agreements, Research Collaboration Agreements and Service Agreements. All agreements to be reviewed and approved by managing team before endorsement.  

 

Leadership and Strategic Planning

1. Work with supervisor to organize, plan and implement strategies to ensure the team and organization meets its objectives. 

 

2. Support Lead Clinician to plan and justify for resources needed to meet stakeholder's expectations and aligned with NNI's strategic and business objectives as well as strategically develop and plan academic goals and directions across cluster. 

 

Miscellaneous

1. Participate in the planning of new initiatives and helps to drive the implementation, including problem solving, monitoring, and reporting.  

 

Requirements:

(i) Recognised degree with 6 years of relevant experience.

(ii) Experience with project management (including budget management) and managing a team would be an advantage.

​​​​​​(iii) Proficient in relevant Office software including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint; good presentation skills.

(iv) Leadership and organizational abilities, including ability to strategize and problem-solve.

(v) Good interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player.
