Clinical Research Coordinator (CTRU)

National Neuroscience Institute is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator under the Clinical Trial & Research Unit (CTRU).

 

You will provide administrative and support services to the investigators in the conduct and implementation of clinical research studies and/or clinical trials at the National Neuroscience Institute (TTSH campus), in adherence to the International Conference for Harmonisation Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA), applicable regulations and protocol requirements.

 

You will be required to:

  • provide administrative, operational and secretarial support for the department
  • facilitate research agreements and prepare clinical trial budgets, including liaising with external institutions and pharmaceutical agencies for site feasibility and initiation
  • perform completeness checks, tracking of IRB applications and database management
  • prepare research metrics and reports for submission to various stakeholders
  • manage department petty cash flow and finances
  • maintain department records and equipment inventories
  • coordinate department meetings, including minutes writing
  • assist PIs and CRCs in preparation for study monitoring and audits
  • perform other administrative tasks for the department as required by the supervisor and HOD
  • perform study-related activities, such as screening and recruitment of study subjects; assist with obtaining informed consent; coordination of subject visits; and other procedures when required

 

This is predominantly an administrative role with minimal patient-contact.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Psychology or related fields with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in clinical research coordination
  • Good interpersonal, written and communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Meticulous with good multi-tasking capabilities and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Preferably attended the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or similar course
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
